Setting-up Your Dial-up Internet Connection
Your computer may need to have certain settings changed to access dial-up Internet service.
Before proceeding, have your username and password ready.

1. On your desktop, double-click the "My Computer" icon.
2. In the next window, double-click the "Dial-up Networking" icon.
3. Check to see if there is an icon for dialing into your ISP.  If there is an icon, skip ahead to step 5.
4. To create a dial-up icon for your ISP, double-click on "Make New Connection" and follow the instructions.  You should use 437-1360 as your dial-up number.
5. Click on the icon for your dial-up connection using your right mouse button.
6. In the drop-down list, click "Properties."  You should now be in the "General" tab for the dial-up connection.
7. Click into the "Telephone number" window showing the dial-up number
8. If you must dial 9 to access an outside line, replace the old dial-up number with the following:
   
9,4371360
9. Click on the "OK" button.

To Disable Call Waiting
If your telephone line has call waiting, you may need to disable this feature when dialing up this Internet service.  This will prevent incoming calls from disrupting your Internet connection.

1. Find the icon for your dial-up connection by going into "My Computer" and looking inside "Network Connections"
2. Add *70 and a comma at the beginning of your dial-up number.
3. Example (to disable call waiting): *70,4371360
4. Example (to get an outside line and disable call waiting): 9,*70,4371360
5. Note:  The commas are "pauses" which program the modem to wait briefly for another dial tone.
